Passive drugs dogs can sniff out when someone has taken a substance OR has it on their person (no matter what quantity and how wrapped up it is - or where it is!)....It depends on whether the handler/police/club staff can be bothered with the amounts found to process the paperwork and deal with the procedures behind it. There is usually an amnesty box located at the premises doorway where you can leave any drugs you don't wish to carry in or risk passed the dog and no prosecution will follow... they don't usually search cars at the premises but you never know...it may be something they start soon...The key thing is they are not really interested in targeting someone out having a good time under the influence, more with the supply/dealing part.
