Kick up the backside needed

I have a coursework deadline 3pm thursday, and I've done 1/5 tasks. The second task is a complete bitch, and the other three are easy enough, just tedious.

And I really can't be arsed doing any of it. I might try and make 11 tonight and see if I can get task 2 done, then I have an easy run home with it tomorrow.

Short of leaving it until 12pm the day before (I honestly only start panicking at this point) how do you motivate yourself to get coursework done? Particularly the dull stuff that is hard to get into.

it's a pain, I'm the same. I had all weekend to do a bit of work my project partner needed for tonight. I've just spent all today doing it :p

do the last 3 tasks, the easy ones, first. take regular breaks, away from the PC if you can. at least once every couple of hours, (unless you're on a roll!).

if you cant get away from the PC, watch an episode of family guy or something for half an hour when you have a break. go get a drink, eat some cookies...

also, you might find making a time table helpful, some people do!
