Subscriptions to threads

Why do certain threads appear to be subscribed to when I haven't subscribed to them?

Its annoying because I keep having unsubscribe them

Im somehow subscribed to the D&SH thread and it wont delete

No. Its set as "Do not subscribe"

Seem to be having fun trying to find the option in vbulletin these days - but I'll track down the default options and make sure they haven't changed. Also make sure you have not subscribing selected - rather than subscribing if you reply to a thread.

I have it set as 'Do not subscribe' but its still doing it

That makes me feel better. THe same thing has been happening to me for quite some time now. http://vbulletin.thesite.org/showthread.php?t=101303 I know I've never subscribed to a thread on purpose.

I'm subscribed to some threads for no reason - it just says you are subscribed to this thread - when I haven't done it. But then I don't get emails or any other confirmation of me being subscribed!
Does that make sense?

It means you get an email syaing someone has replied to a certain thread.

Thats the thing though, although I've supposedly subscribed to these threads, I don't get a email about it!
